30+ for something unique or high end, but that's maybe a couple times a year, otherwise not more than 5 for a special treat, and there's been more variety of restaurants popping up in the area.

I try to eat well either by cooking at home or eating out/take out in my city. I don't really do fancy restaurants so Michelin stars are not important to me. Asia isn't too expensive to visit and the food alone is reason enough to go.

I agree. You really shouldn't base your experience of seafood off an experience hours or days from the ocean

I do eat frozen fish and chips though, super easy dinner

Last month, my friend and I drove 35 miles to the nearest Sonic since I hadn't been to one in a few years and it just opened recently. For me, I'd travel to eat somewhere as long as it's around 50 miles or under and within an hour or less drive. I might do the same just for Cook Out.

gourmet burgers are such hipster trash. The proportions are all off and that bun will be like a soaked paper towel in no time. That bun needs to be bigger or the patty smaller. A good burger is in the balance.

Gelato is made with milk, cream, various sugars, and ingredients such as fresh fruit and nut purees. It is derived from the Latin word “gelātus” (meaning frozen).

BUT, gelato is actually different from the traditional recipe of ice cream because it is lighter, having a lower butterfat content than traditional ice cream.

To put some percentages on it, gelato typically contains 4-8% fat, versus the 14-16% found in ice cream. Gelato also contains less air than most ice cream and is therefore more dense and rich in flavour. Scoop for scoop, you get more gelato than you would ice cream.
