Say you eventually get life figured out and are financially independent. Being from remote work or living off of savings or what have you. Where would you want to live? What kind of things are important to you for a permanent life?
Do you want lots of private land, or to be in a happening city?
Do you want a hot or cold climate?
Do you stay with your culture or try something exotic?

Personally I'm torn between two extremes. Panama, and the rugged mountains of Montana. I want either nothing but sunny beaches or to live through a Jack Frost novel. Anything in the middle just seems dull at this point.

Hot climate for sure. Fuck da cold. I'd like to live somewhere in southern japan maybe. I want to live in a bustling city at least once in my life (I'm from the burbs), but maybe I'd prefer the country once I'm older. It'd be nice to have a vegetable garden, and a few hens. The most important thing to me in a town is the walkability/bikeability.

Bsck to Korea for sure. They have the urban environment perfected. Plus I am entitled to a spouse visa.

I would like to live in a nice cozy city, much like the one I am in now. Ideally I would like to get to a stage where I can support the cultural life of the city, financially, or physically.

That is how I plan to remain revelant and part of a community for as long as I can.

I am terminally british so to leave blighty would be hard for me. The netherlands would suffice in a pinch.

Take the cold. We don't have huge bugs here in Montana. Lots of outdoors.

DEFINITELY home base in Cambodia 5 months out of the year, with another 3 months in Thailand, a month in Laos, 2 months in Vietnam, and another month spread between short trips to more expensive countries like Japan/SK/maybe a week in Hong Kong, Bali (Indonesia), etc.

As an avid skier and an active ski coach i need to be reasonably near the mountains or my life would fall apart. So most recently I have moved to a small hippy mountain town in Montana and I'm loving it.
I've also lived at the great Salt Lake area(it sucks unless ur a square as mormon prude, but the skiing was nice, lots of options), and the lake Tahoe/Reno area and I gotta say this place is my favorite so far id recommend it 10/10

Next winter after I've finished tapering off my methadone idk where I'm gonna go... probly waaaaay north, like Canada north cuz I gotta nope the fuck outa burgerland asap is what my gut is telling me and I can't do that dopesick af.....

My goal is Miami. I used to move to Miami few days ago. I got help from guys wht my moving https://abamovingflorida.com/ According to a financial rule of thumb, a person should spend about 50 percent of his or her after-tax income on necessities. That includes things like rent, food, utilities, health care , and transportation.

Rural-near-urban, with my own well, a mad scientist compound, and sick orchard

I figure I'll need like 5 million in 2015 money
