So when I smoke weed, I generally get really fidgety and restless, been getting worse and worse as well, last time I smoked up (I generally do so alone) I had to keep walking from wall to wall for a good while to keep my body busy (think Balthazar but on amphs). I'm usually very chill and calm while sober, to the point of being thought of as a sloth by my peers, but weed just stokes the fire for some reason so I have to move.

Is there any way to calm it down so I can just sit and chill with my thoughts instead of getting on the Bone Zone ride? I've no problem with anxious thoughts or paranoias, just get hyper restless.

are you aware are strain types and potency? Try an indica if you havent already, it may not change much but won't get you acting up as much as a sativa would. Plan ahead, have some snacks, an activity to do or have a show/movie running. I found this helps with people who don't react well to weed. Keeps the mind off the effects. If you find yourself just staring into empty space for an hour instead simply smoke less.

Maybe you should use the energy and start excercising, or already being a bit worn out might help

I actually did that a while years back, got all nude and switched off the lights.
Pitch black lifting, just me, the weights and the sweat.
Only quit cause I'd feel too sober after the sessions.
Cardio as well, used to do midnight weed-rides as fast as I could down the roads with good enough visibility to spot cars with time to spare. So fucking good. Release the speed demon.

I had actually forgotten about both, damn. Good times. Don't even have a bike anymore, and got a bad leg to boot.

Yeah pretty much aware, and I mostly just make a tiny pile on the screen. No like whole joints or bowls.
Watching anything almost makes it worse, can't bring myself to care about screen-stuff unless it's active fun, like getting it on in GIMP or something.

I'll probs just try taking a walk before next time and see if that helps, been getting a bit too sedentary so I guess >>4928450 could be onto the prob.

OP might benefit from going on adventures when smoking. Make yourself a bug out bag with supplies and travel stash, maybe bring a self defense tool and explore. At the very least if not that then plan some work or fun before you smoke so you're not just stoned with nothing to do.

I don't get the luxury to hike and smoke anymore being so wrapped up in the city, I have to explore texts and screens to get my mind out the mundane sadly and I yearn to smoke free out in the wild again. Usually after a fat bowl when I feel anxious and restless I know I'm also about to delve into some good material or project which brings a positive excitement.

I used to get out into the forests at night with friends before, was the shit. Don't think it'd be the same alone. And like I wrote above, got a bad leg (knee trouble, been getting kinda latent murmurs since as a kid but finally flared up for real) gonna have it checked out soon but doubt there's much to be done. Can't handle real hikes, only slow walks.
