sativa vs indica, is there really a difference in your opinion? i know different cannabinoid/terpene profiles can affect the buzz, but i dont believe sativa/indica has anything to do with this personally. time of harvest affecting the makeup makes a lot more sense to me

Sativa and indicas generally are labeled as such based on the presence of specific terpenes

What you believe doesn't really matter, there's a lot of objective info on this topic. That being said, there are way more important factors than indica vs sativa that determine the parameters of what kind of effects you get. It's like saying you have five senses when that's way too simplistic to be valuable to anyone but children who are only just becoming aware of the world and need to characterize the experience.

Yes, but most strains nowadays are split down the middle. You'll absolutely feel a massive difference between a landrace sativa like Durban Poison and a hard hitting indica like a bubba strain.

I can feel the difference between strains, if I am taking notice. I do this by looking up a strain on wikileaf or something and reading its entry before I try it out. Usually the description, or descriptions from multiple websites, hold to be mostly true as far as effects, taste, smell, etc. But even within one strain there can be major differences due to how they grew and general genetic factors.

As far as Sativa vs. Indica goes, I tend to think of sativa's as more stimulating, energy boosting, and indicas are more chill and relaxed. So through a day I'll usually do sativa before noon, a mix of sat and ind midday, and indica at night.

That's just me though.

Placebo Effect
noun
noun: placebo effect; plural noun: placebo effects

A beneficial effect produced by a placebo drug or treatment, which cannot be attributed to the properties of the placebo itself, and must therefore be due to the patient's belief in that treatment.

It pronounced placebo's effex.

In any case, yeah probably but there is a discernible difference. I can pick out THC from CBD blind and I sure as fuck can tell when I'm couchlocked, when I'm hungle and when they all laughing at my blueberry headband

I feel like sativa/indica archetype is a useful starting point but that's it

like most sativas will wake you up and keep you energized, but not all. Even for those that do, a super clear-headed euphoric high like Cotton Candy or J-1 is different from a super hazey high like...idk, haze strains probably.

they feel the same but if you have indica in the morning and sativa in the evening or vice versa, the 2nd time will feel as potent as the 1st which doesnt happen if you have just one strain. other than that its all in your head
