Last thread got cycled out it seems, but I've been sticking with my most recent save and have had a hell of a time booking 2001 WCW (using Genadi's WCW Lives Mod). Been slowly but surely righting the ship, and have some great angles that have been pulling in the ratings as of late.

>Booker T. vs. Ric Flair
Since Booker starts the save with the title, figured he'd prove his worth as a champion with a serious challenger in Flair; Flair's actually winding down his in-ring time due to age, so I'm trying to keep this going at least until Starrcade where Booker will make his second-ever defense in a "passing of the torch" moment, as long as the AI doesn't fuck me and decide to retire soon

>Kevin Nash vs. Shane Douglas
This is purely a vehicle for newer WCW guys (AJ, O'Haire, Helms) and ECW refugees (Rob Van Dam, Tajiri, Mike Awesome) to get over via association with two main eventers, leading into a War Games where it's WCW vs. the eWo (extreme World order; original, I know). Shane is actually killing it in promos, and Rob Van Dam has been putting on 70+ rated matches since his first day in the company

>Disciples of Doom
I've been marathoning old Nitros and this is a storyline that's resulted purely from osmosis. Vampiro introduces James Mitchell as "The Father", basically a reincarnated "Master" (King Ieukea's gimmick) who pulls Kanyon back into his Mortis gimmick. Since Vampiro just came back from a concussion and Kanyon from rehab, the current goal is getting Father over as a manager so the stable can be another vehicle for "monster" types like Khali, Snitsky, and Abyss (all currently in developmental) and so I'll have a rotating midcard-upper midcard stable for next year's War Games.

Anyone else have any storylines they're toying with? Crazy-ass random events/deaths? Are people still playing TEW at all? Post screencaps and shit in here!

Helps keep track of story beats in the storyline history viewer, otherwise I'd just have "ANGLE: RVD and Booker T" repeated ad-naseum and wouldn't remember what my intentions were.

Not much really going on; tried to get Hogan for the nWo v Horsemen storyline but WWE - after ignoring him for nearly 8 months - IMMEDIATELY threw a hundred grand at him just to keep him away from me and now he's doing jobs to Eddie Guerrero on SmackDown. Also bought out UPW and IWA-MS for the talent and belts - IWA had their King of the Deathmatch just the day before news of their money issues hit and I bought them out, and fittingly Ian Rotten would be the fifth and final tournament winner.

And just when I thought "Violent J, TNA Booker" was going to be the weirdest news in June of 2002...

Show isn't up on demand yet. Though I don't think it was caught on camera.

Funny thing, me and a few people were waiting to buy some merch from Man Scout and the Highspots guy wouldn't sell his merch even though his table was right next to
Manning's and I figured it was one in the same since Manning is clearly on their team. We were told he was coming out after he uploaded the show to the Highspots server. And he did come out so I guess it's a matter of waiting on the replay. Got a shirt, pic related.

Also, the NEW president Michael Lombardi came out who I've never seen come out on a show before and said he has "honorable" and "elite" friends interested in coming there to tape TV whic is cool. ROH doesn't come around here ever and AEW would sell out MHCC in minutes. There was so much AEW gear on people it was crazy. The building would be way too small IMO and god help me if I tried to get tickets.

>Watch GLOW season 3 now on Netflix and in /wooo/tube with two episodes a week starting next Friday at 9pm EDT / 2am BST

Season 3 follows the ladies of GLOW as they take the Vegas strip by storm. Now headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, the women quickly realize Sin City is much more grind than glitter. Ever the team cheerleader, Ruth's passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her growingly complicated personal life. Debbie is making headway as a producer, but continues to be consumed with guilt over the distance between her and her son. As their residency wears on, the lines blur between performance and reality, and the cast find themselves struggling with their own identities both in and outside of the ring.

Make sure to use spoiler tags when talking about each episode.

By the end of season 3, it kinda feels like the wrestling part of it is tacked on.

I'll watch season 4 as it still is an enjoyable show. The show is missing something central, though, like Debbie's anger towards Ruth and the changing of both characters over time. It kinda hints at Debbie becoming more of that season 2 hateable Debbie at the end, but it feels like a bit too little too late.
Gorgeous George - Sat, 17 Aug 2019 06:57:08 EST ykkhl/vg No.6285012 Reply
Season 3 had a couple really good character moments but barely felt like there was a wrestling show going on for most of it. The timeskips got pretty ridiculous too, feels like it definitely needed one or two more eps to flesh everything out. Weakest so far but, overall, still pretty good. As the last guy said I'll watch one more if they use it to wrap everything up.

>The annual Fighting Back charity stream is on at 2pm EDT / 7pm BST in http://taima.tv/r/wooo3 Thursday AND Friday!

Yes, it’s August and that means it is Fighting Back time again. This year marks the 9th year of Fighting Back. All the tweets about this year’s event will be followed with #FightingBack9.

If you are new to nL and have no idea about Fighting Back, here is a little background info. Fighting Back is a charity wrestling event that takes place every summer and has for the past nine years now. Fighting Back was in large part the idea of Francois “Phrank” Morin. Morin was an indy wrestler who passed away after a very brief and intense battle with cancer. When he passed away in 2011, there had already been plans for the very first Fighting Back event which would raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. After his passing, all the money raised at the 2011 event, the very first event, were donated in Morin’s name.

The nL lads took part over the last couple of years and have been a huge part of the Fighting Back weekend. Johnny and the rest of nL used to do a 24 hour stream with all the donations to go to the Fighting Back show and the eventual amount that gets donated. The last couple of years have provided laughter and even some more serious moments all in the name of fighting cancer and ridding the world of this terrible illness.

Recently, they have split the 24 hours into two 12 hour streams across 2 days as the 24 hours staying awake seemed kinda crazy. Last year, newLegacy with the help of their fans and fans from across the wrestling world came together and broke the goal amount half way through day 1, which is incredible!!

Will we be able to reach $30,000? It's looking very likely that they will. This is said to be the biggest Fighting Back show ever, with people like Cody showing up to the actual wrestling show.

Over the years of doing the Fighting Back video game stream, nL had some visiting friends such as Andrew Everett, Player Uno, Johnny Yuma, and Vince Russo show up for the stream. Who knows who will show up this year? Who will fight on stream for the Big Dog title? Who knows??!

>To donate you can go to https://streamlabs.com/newlegacyinc/tip

Lets make this the best Fighting Back ever!!!

>OWE Tube is over in http://taima.tv/r/mondainightryu at 8pm EDT / 1am BST

We’re back for a rare OWE Tube this week over in MNR. We are watching the FITE (English dubbed) version of the recent OWE tour in Japan. Since the last time we had OWE Tube, our lovable flippy boys from China secured a deal with FITE for streaming, which is why OWE Tube is at a current standstill. With the recent FITE deal, it’s expected the old episodes on Nothing Else On TV will also make their way to FITE. (Stay tuned as stuff gets added to FITE) Also since the last time we met for OWE Tube, /wooo/ favorite CIMA had a classic match against Kenny Omega (which I greatly suggest you watch!!).

The show we’re watching tonight took place back in June, and also featured talent from DDT as it is rumored that DDT will be working closely with OWE and AEW. #STRONGHEARTS makes an announcement of a brand new member to the group, A-Ben has a banger of a match against Ikemen, and Xiangke is back with his bamboo staff trying to stab his neck out (again). Come watch the future of Chinese wrestling tonight!!
