Modern Age Grappling is professional wrestling presented with enforced pro wrestling rules, with a strong emphasis on different wrestling styles from around the world, performed by some of pro wrestling's most gifted grapplers.

Here in MAG - outside of the hard strikes, high flying, and precise technical ability - in ring storytelling is the key ingredient. We believe that styles make fights. If you are looking for a different professional wrestling experience, then look no further - MAG is here!

The grapplers performing have been seen on national TV, and in top promotions around the world, including AEW, ROH, WWE/NXT, Impact, NJPW, Zero1, NWA, DDT, PWG, wXw, Progress, and many more!

Calling the action at ring side will be former ROH, Evolve/DGUSA and current Dragon Gate Japan english commentator Lenny Leonard! He will be joined by former NWA World champion and current AEW Superstar Boom Boom Colt Cabana!

Matches will be contested under pro wrestling rules, with a twist. Matches will be broken up into six rounds of five minute segments, with a 30 second break given to the contenders between rounds. Time limits will be strictly adhered to.

My favorite thing about Rhett Titus is that his gimmick is that he has the best dropkick in the world and so a regular fucking dropkick is his finish, but nobody watching shows he's on ever knows this so the only people reacting like it's his finish are commentary.

AEW Dynamite took place at the Fertitta Center in Houston, Texas. It was called “Wild Card Wednesday” as we saw Maki Itoh and Johnny Elite (the former John Morrison) making appearances as the “Jokers” of the Owen Hart Cup. More people moved ahead in the brackets of said Tournament, however we still have one last quarter-final match left to go. Let’s take a look at the AEW Rampage card for this week.

>Red Velvet vs Kris Statlander In The Owen Hart Cup

The last quarter-final match of either side of the tournament. Kris Statlander came in as a replacement for Hikaru Shida and has been showcasing her more serious personality latelt. At the same time, Red Velvet has also seen a change in personality after turning heel and joining TBS Champion Jade Cargill and Kiera Hogan as The Baddies. This will be the first major match for either woman since said character changes. The winner is set to meet Ruby Soho in the semi-finals.

Soho and Statlander have already faced each other, one on one. In a tournament, no less. That being the tournament to crown the first-ever TBS Champion. Red Velvet and Soho have also faced each other too but only in tag team matches. We’ll see on Rampage if Statlander will move on and get a chance to make up for that loss or if Red Velvet will continue to hoist the Baddies banner high

>Two-Man Combat Club Action

While Wheeler Yuta continues his run at New Japan’s Best Of The Super Jr Tournament, Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson of the Blackpool Combat Club have found themselves entangled in Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz’s feud with the Jericho Appreciation Society. While that match is officially announced for Double Or Nothing, it seems other teams see Moxley and Danielson as “distracted”. Those were the words of the teacher/student tandem of Matt Sydal and Dante Martin, who right after the match was announced on Dynamite, challenged the former World Champion duo.

While Sydal and Martin are no strangers to teaming up, obviously, Moxley and Danielson have been far more dominant and consistent since first teaming up after their match at Revolution that saw William Regal bring them together. Whether it’s the two of them together, alongside Wheeler Yuta, or against each other, they’ve been seeing action consistently since the last AEW Pay-Per-View event while Sydal is just now returning from a leg injury.

>Scorpio Sky’s True Colors

Despite the trust the two forged for years as a part of SCU. And despite even the crowd’s own interests, Scorpio Sky betrayed Frankie Kazarian last week by accepting the help of Ethan Page and Dan Lambert which he originally said he didn’t want to defeat Kazarian. Of all people, Sammy Guevara had to save the indie legend from the Men Of The Year as the crowd booed.

A mixed tag team match was at one point suggested between Sammy and Tay Conti against Scorpio and Paige Vanzant but it would seem plans have changed. With Double Or Nothing fast approaching, we have to imagine we’ll see some sort of match involving this Sky/Guevara feud.

>Fuego Knocks On The House’s Door

Fuego Del Sol isn’t exactly the first name you think of when it comes to ideal opponents for The House Of Black. But Fuego, after weeks off TV due to a mouth infection, returns. Del Dols is teaming with the Dark Order’s Preston Vance & Evil Uno, to take on the imposing dark trio of Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews. Gotta wonder how long the underdogs will last.

One positive is seeing Fuego Del Sol making his return to the ring after suffering a mouth infection last month that required surgery.

In Indonesian culture suicide victims and survivors are perceived as ‘evildoers’ and their behaviour condemned as deviant. Also blame is placed on family members and friends for failing to prevent the ‘self-murder’. This ‘victim-blaming’ practice discourages people with suicidal thoughts and mental health issues from seeking help, and to prevent grieving family and friends from telling the truth about what happened to a loved one and openly discussing the issue.

Funds from this show are being used to fund suicide prevention initiatives, thereby helping to restore Hana's 'honour'.

It's a fact that he made very specific accusations of bullying and that these were never responded to by the company.

He very well could have been lying, but we never got a specific rebuttal from Page's side of things. As I was clear to say, Louie was far from an angel himself, and had some very weird tendancies. Still, the accusations were never really dealt seriously and instead of talking about them, people shifting the conversation onto Louie as a person rather than the shitty practices of the production team. RK-Bro and The Usos set for Winner Take All Title Unification clash

The Winner Take All Tag Team Title Unification Match between RK-Bro and The Usos is back on and set for Friday Night SmackDown on May 20. Originally slated for WrestleMania Backlash, the budding rivalry between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre converted the clash into a Six-Man Tag Team showdown. The Bloodline got the best of the newly-formed trio, but Riddle, Randy Orgon & McIntyre showed they could push the blue brand champions to the absolute limit. So will The Bloodline be leaving SmackDown next week with all the gold or can RK-Bro make those dreams go up in smoke?

Shinsuke Nakamura looks to overthrow the “locker room leader” Sami Zayn

The self-proclaimed “locker room leader” Sami Zayn is out to prove his value once again to The Bloodline by stepping in to deal with a disgruntled Shinsuke Nakamura. The King of Strong Style has had his sights set on The Head of the Table ever since Roman Reigns and his cousins The Usos ruthlessly attacked him after putting Nakamura’s guitar-riffing herald on the injured list. When Nakamura attempted to call out the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, he was answered by Zayn who was out to prove he can be a vital asset to The Bloodline. “The Master Strategist” was able to outwit Nakamura after catching him by surprise with a Helluva Kick to earn a count out victory. With Nakamura still chomping at the bit to get to Reigns, can he flip the script and clear this roadblock to The Bloodline?

Xavier Woods set for fight night with Butch

Xavier Woods is ready to show Butch the true meaning of fight night after laying down a one-on-one challenge to the rabid bruiser. The frenzied attack dog for Sheamus and Ridge Holland has repeatedly and randomly pummeled Woods and Kofi Kingston throughout their run-ins with the UK trio with Butch taking advantage of their superior numbers to defeat Kingston this past week. Woods has been the only Superstar to tame the wild Butch, recording back-to-back victories to rain on the newcomer’s debut. Can Woods prevail once again and earn some retribution for his New Day partner or will the numbers game come into play once again?

>NXT Level Up

Josh Briggs headlines NXT Level Up with rare singles match against a vivacious Quincy Elliott

With his partner Brooks Jensen on the injured list, Josh Briggs returns to singles action to square off with the outlandish powerhouse Quincy Elliott. Also, Ivy Nile looks to continue her undefeated run in a one-on-one matchup with Yulisa Leon, and NXT Level Up staple Javier Bernal takes on a debuting Bryson Montana.

In a rare singles match, the hard-nosed Briggs comes up against a brick wall in Elliott. The rising Superstar has turned heads in his short time on NXT Level Up with his vibrant style and his even more exuberant personality, but Elliott has yet to pick up his first victory in NXT. With a hard right hand at his disposal, Briggs has stood toe-to-toe with some of the biggest bruisers in NXT, but will he be able to overcome the formidable Elliott without Jensen standing by his side?

Leon will also leave her tag team partner at ringside as she steps into the ring for the daunting task of facing “The Pitbull” of Diamond Mine. Nile has dominated the competition since arriving on NXT, picking up wins over both Leon and her tag team partner Valentina Feroz, and has yet to be pinned or submitted. Can Leon learn from her previous meeting to overcome Nile and finally put an end to her Herculean winning streak?

Finally, NXT Level Up veteran Javier Bernal will show a debuting Montana the ropes when the two lock up in singles action. Bernal has been a consist…

I thought they did release some kind of statement after the Charlotte incident. Wasn't she kept off TV for a bit too?

I think part of why they made a statement on TV like that is over the past year, there have been tons of announced main events that changed last minute (due to typical chaotic WWE booking) but they wanted people to know this one was out of their control. As for suspending them indefinitely, if they're refusing to work, they're not really suspended. They're still under contract, still getting paid. The "suspension" doesn't really mean anything. Plus this isn't the first time they've had issues like this with Sasha Banks.

Charlotte is basically the female Roman Reigns in terms of how she's been pushed because she's Flair's daughter while WWE has always seen Sasha as someone there to put over the people WWE really wants in spite of being more popular because she's not the one WWE's been grooming since day 1 to be their top star.

Also Sasha has committed the gravest sin anyone in WWE can commit: she got popular outside of WWE and lined up outside media gigs on her own initiative. You can do a lot of things in the 'E but the only truly verboeten one is to make yourself a star outside of WWE without their help as that implies you don't need them because they're the WWE dammit and they made you and you should feel grateful. That's how you find yourself Macho Man'd or CM Punk'd.

Naomi's really just kind of along. Like every two or three years, social media creatures demand she gets a push and then she does and everyone remembers that she sucks and she slides back down the card until the cycle starts anew. This just happened during the up portion of the Naomi Cycle.

AEW is back in Texas this Wednesday night with an all-new Dynamite hailing from the Fertitta Center in Houston! Last week's events kicked off the Owen Hart Tournament with Adam Cole, Jeff Hardy, Toni Storm, and Ruby Soho all advancing to the Semi-Final round, it saw both Scorpio Sky and Ricky Starks retain their respective titles, and MJF lay down the stipulations for Wardlow to get his Double or Nothing 2022 match.

>OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT QUARTER-FINAL: ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe vs. The Joker Card ***WINNER FACES O'REILLY/FENIX***

The Joker has proven a rather unpredictable aspect of All Elite Wrestling over the last several years. Since Hangman Page emerged at Double or Nothing 2019 as the Joker for the very first Casino Battle Royale, it has been a spot full of intrigue that generates mass speculation from the AEW faithful. That has been the case already for this situation, plenty of names both within AEW and from the outside wrestling world have been thrown into a hat by the fans, now all that remains is to see just who pulls the Joker card for the Men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Whoever it may be, in Samoa Joe they've got a massive test in front of them if they hope to make it to the Semi-Final round of competition. Since his arrival at ROH's Supercard of Honor 2022 event, the ROH World TV Champion smashed Max Caster to qualify for The Owen, he's been haunted by the Lethal/Singh/Dutt trio for the last six weeks, and he went to war with Minoru Suzuki to claim said championship. Joe has been in fine fighting form, ready to unleash his own personal form of violence on any foe, and mystery man or not, the person who enters the ring on Wednesday night had better be ready for war.

>OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT QUARTER-FINAL: Rey Fenix vs. Kyle O'Reilly

Both Kyle O'Reilly and Rey Fenix had tremendous fights to qualify for this prestigious tournament; the former had to fend off Jungle Boy while the latter had a high-flying battle with Dante Martin to make it to this point. Each demonstrated why they are top shelf athletes on their own despite their general competition as tag team wrestlers, and that will certainly continue this week on Dynamite.

It's going to be an interesting clash of styles; one of the most innovative high-flyers in modern pro wrestling versus a violent artist known for vicious strikes and deadly submissions. Which style will win out? Will the numbers of The Undisputed Elite play a part in the fight? Will The House of Black have their eyes on Rey Fenix given their heated issue? There's a lot more at play here than just the tournament, but that tournament semi-final is the most important piece of the game.

>OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL: Adam Cole vs. Jeff Hardy

Adam Cole had a vision heading into this tournament of three Undisputed Elite members qualifying for the field, and running the table down to the finals. Clearly, if that had been the case, they would have had to fight one another once en route to the finals, and then once more to determine the first ever winner of The Owen. Once Cole beat Tomohiro Ishii in their qualifier, and O'Reilly topped Jungle Boy, it became a very real possibility that UE members could fight. Bobby Fish's loss to Jeff Hardy put a damper on Cole's grand design but as the song goes, two out of three ain't bad, and with Cole being the first to advance to the semi-final round, there was still skin in the game.

It remains to be seen if Kyle O'Reilly's tournament journey will continue beyond the quarter-finals, but considering Adam Cole has to face down the legendary Jeff Hardy in this first semi-final bout, the UE better pray Kyle advances. Jeff Hardy is coming into this tourney looking to pay tribute to a man he knew, he respected, a friend and inspiration, while Cole just wants to be the first. It means nothing deeper to him than the victory and its bragging rights, he fights only for himself and (seemingly) the Undisputed Elite.

take your Nazi eugenics ideology elsewhere, pleb.

i swear it’s like the only response to morality and virtue becoming more trendy for you tards over at 4chins was to start perpetuating every form of outdated, “toxic masculinity” covering your flaws with such an obvious falsehood.

projection at it’s finest.
> ya hate to see it
nah we love to see it. your desperation is hilarious.

>In a shocking end to his match at AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson appeared to sustain an injury after getting his leg stuck in between the ring and the ramp.

>AEW have not revealed whether this incident featured in the script or not. However, it did appear that the 40-year-old had genuinely hurt himself. His calf looked trapped, which in all likelihood would cause pain. Furthermore, faking the incident would make little sense. Danielson spent a prolonged period down, which, if scripted, provided little pay-off.

wtf is going on in this company right now?

I love Ishii but why would they put a Japanese talent over who isn't going to be regularly appearing on shows?
