WWE Uncaged IX has dropped. The tracklist is as follows:

>WWE "Then. Now. Forever." signature theme

>WWF Prime Time Wrestling theme

>That awful WWF Monday Night Raw theme from the Summer of 1995

>WWF Livewire theme

>DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN (Kevin Dunn's favorite theme, I'm guessing)

>WWF Sunday Night Heat theme

>WWF Super Astros theme

>WWF Wrestlemania 15 theme

>WWF No Mercy theme

>WWF Confidential theme

>WWE Velocity theme

>WWF Judgement Day theme

>WWF Vengeance theme

>WWE The Great American Bash theme (I legit had no recollection that they reworked this theme into Mr. Kennedy's theme)

Now that's the weird flex. Naito back at that time was just generic dude with an anime costume. He was really cookie-cutter and the reception got worse on injury. He was always seen as that guy with a ratty face back then that the tubes even spammed Stardust Retard. Basically Yoshi-Hashi 0.5 and that was well before WK9, heck even before AJ came in

That's my biggest gripe with monthly PPVs and more than one weekly TV show that they claim to be separate brands, but they're not quite exactly really separate. Every storyline now basically has a rocket strapped to it.

What are some legitimate reasons he isn't going to the G1 finals? It seems like most of their fanbase in US and Japan want to see Naito win the heavyweight title at WK more than how over Kota is. I always keep an open mind with New Japan booking but this time I'm really left scratching my head.

> TripleMania, AAA’s biggest show of the year, was a mix of a variety of different stars and styles, and ended with a number of different headlines. In Mexico, the show was about a battle of legends, as Blue Demon Jr. beat Dr. Wagner Jr. in a mask vs. hair match before a near sellout of 18,000 fans, the largest pro wrestling crowd in the world since WrestleMania, on 8/3 at Arena Ciudad in Mexico City. But there were other headlines, including the debut of Cain Velasquez, which got great reviews, the return of L.A. Park and his family, plus the tease of a Fenix vs. Kenny Omega AAA heavyweight title match.

> It was the combination of Demon vs. Wagner and the debut of Velasquez that led to the top matches doing a 6.5 rating and 29 share on TV Azteca and 1.63 million viewers. It was the highest rated show on both over-the-air television and cable television. The cable TV version was the third most-watched show on cable of the week and the over-the-air version on TV Azteca was the most-watched show on regular television of the day. It was also the third most-watched sports show of the week. The claim was that there were 8.2 million viewers, broken down as 6.72 million on Azteca and 1.47 million on Space.

> Demon broke a cinder block over Wagner’s head to beat him in a major old-school bloodbath match. Fenix & Pentagon Jr. & Laredo Kid got revenge for Las Vegas beating The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega in the semi. That match, while technically at a much higher level than anything else on the show, struggled early with the crowd because they were following a tag match with Velasquez, the biggest mainstream star on the show, and Psycho Clown, AAA’s most popular wrestler. Both men had said they would retire if they lost. After the match, Wagner said that he would fulfill his bookings and that he’s booked a year out. Okay. Most believe there is no retirement happening at that point either.

> Velasquez was the big story in the U.S. People expected him to do an MMA style, but he insisted on doing Lucha Libre. He worked the match wearing a black mask. Everyone thought he shouldn’t have worn the mask, but to him it was important to be an authentic Luchador and not a guy cashing a paycheck because of his childhood love of El Santo, El Hijo del Santo and Mil Mascaras.

> He really didn’t follow wrestling for a long time, unlike training partner Daniel Cormier who was a fan since watching Mid South Wrestling as a child and remains a WWE fan today. Velasquez went to the 2018 Elimination Chamber show in Las Vegas with Cormier, largely to see the angle with Ronda Rousey. When the show was over, he kept telling wife Michelle how it brought him back to how much he loved Lucha Libre as a kid. She suggested to him that maybe he could do it himself and he and first blew it off, but she pretty much urged him to do it so he did.

> He has a three show deal, which would include shows on 9/15 in Madison Square Garden and 10/13 in Los Angeles. But there is a lot of speculation regarding those shows. Neither show has a strong advance, nor does either show have a card announced or any matches that have been even hinted at. The announcers in both English (Matt Striker and Joe Dombrowski) and Spanish were told before the show not to bring up either date or show, which, given how close they are, probably tells you a lot. But officially at this moment both shows are on the books.

> Velasquez wants to continue fighting, but do pro wrestling at the same time. Everyone raved about how quickly he learned, hitting all his acrobatic spots with very limited training with Kil…

>New title challengers emerge on the horizon
The only title change of the night saw Seth Rollins dethrone Brock Lesnar in a fantastic contest at WWE SummerSlam 2019. It was the main event and Rollins took it to Lesnar like never before. He had to dig deep but ultimately, he managed to overcome The Beast Incarnate and beat him clean. With him now being a 2-time champion, the question is as to who will step up to the plate and take the opportunity. However, Seth Rollins isn't the only one who's waiting for a new challenger. AJ Styles beat Ricochet out of contention while Natalya was handily defeated by RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch. Now that SummerSlam is over, we'll be getting a fresh start with all three of these championships and it'll certainly be interesting to see who steps up to the plate and how they're going to deal with the current champions. Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch and AJ Styles represent the strongest singles champions that RAW have had in a while - which means that all the rivalries will be exciting. For Becky Lynch, expect the 4-time Women's Champion Sasha Banks to return and enter title contention right off the bat.

>Is Samoa Joe on the verge of a major collision course?
The Roman Reigns attacker mystery is taking all sorts of twists and turns and the man in scrutiny right now happens to be none other than Rowan. Basically, on Monday Night RAW, Samoa Joe was adamant to prove his innocence and when he went to confront Roman Reigns, he witnessed a car trying to hit The Big Dog. Luckily, Reigns jumped back in on time while a visibly shaken and confused Joe called for help. He was proven innocent and the next night on SmackDown, Roman Reigns gave him a heartfelt apology. He managed to beat the information out of Buddy Murphy, who revealed Rowan to be the mystery attacker. Rowan assaulted Murphy on the SummerSlam Kickoff show and one can't help but think that things are only going to get sketchier from here. Samoa Joe is a major witness to what happened and he could pose to be a major threat in all of this. Given that he's been proven innocent, he may have a target on his back and might be the victim of an attack very soon.

>The Women's Tag Team titles are on the line
As of tonight once their defence is over, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross will have had the same number of title defences in one week as The IIconics did in four months holding the titles. Last week, Bliss & Cross overcame three other teams and finally The Kabuki Warriors to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. They had an impromptu match at WWE SummerSlam 2019 in the Kickoff show and they took on The IIconics in a rather fun match. Bliss didn't use her usual nefarious tactics and instead relied on her athleticism and teamwork with Cross to beat The former champions clean as a whistle. However, they came close to defeat last week at the hands of the Kabuki Warriors and tonight, Bliss & Cross will take on the two Japanese sensations in a match for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles.Given that the opposition is clearly of a far higher quality, one has to wonder whether Alexa Bliss will resort to her dirty old tactics or whether she'll actually try winning the match the honourable way.

>Who will The Fiend terrorize next?
Bray Wyatt debuted "The Fiend" and took the entire WWE Universe by storm. A visibly shaken and scared Finn Balor was absolutely no match for Bray Wyatt, who was intimidating from the second his music played. He has a new aura about him and it's clear that he's not The Eater Of Worlds anymore, especially because he carried a lantern that was moulded above by a version of his own head of the previous incarnation. Bray Wyatt has 3 names on his list so far - Finn Balor, Kurt Angle and Mick Foley. It doesn't matter whether someone is good or bad, but it seems as though The Fiend is out to completely terrorize WWE. With Finn Balor likely not returning for a while, it's safe to assume that The Fiend is going to find a new target. While we wouldn't blame him for going under the shadows after the match, Wyatt's history only proves that he will be out for more. But the real question is this - What is Bray Wyatt's endgame? What is the reason behind his new p…

Seems like everything these guys touch turns to gold right now, some questions

>If Tony Khan started a promotion on TNT with Prince Devitt, Daniel Bryan, Anderson and Gallows and Naito (That's just random, you can pick anyone at the same level), would it be as popular? could a certain group of wrestlers be *more* popular than these guys?
>How much do they owe NJPW and the Bullet Club gimmick for their popularity?
>How much do they owe reviewers like Dave Meltzer who heavily puts over their style of wrestling (apart from Cody obviously until recently)
>If they hadn't partnered with the Khans could they make their own promotion and would it be as big?

As it should have been. I think y’all are missing my point. The selling point wasn’t the young bucks but it was the young bucks and gallows to a lesser extent that were saying to an audience outside Japan “hey come check these guys out over here, Their top stars are having the best matches in the world”. Especially because the bucks and Okada are pretty tight. They would consistently be on podcasts or highspots shows or whatever shoot stuff they were doing at the time really putting New Japan over to a market that didn’t have access to New Japan, no one was wearing bullet club shirts outside of Japan because you couldn’t GET bullet club shirts outside of Japan until the Bucks and Gallows started selling them (or you bought one of Tama’s bootlegs) And once people checked out New Japan for the bucks match They kept watching because of Nakamura and then Tana and Okada. Before the Bucks the only gaijin I really heard heavily pushing NJPW was Alex shelley cuz he was one of my faves from TNA and he kinda disappeared cuz he was doing the time splitters
