Post here your G1 expectations, opinions or more hyped matchs. In my case:

>Juice and Tama Tonga have more watchable matches now.
>No belt Okada gonna be more fun to watch
>Jay White is the one who gonna make some upsets
>Dont know why but Elgin vs Fale sounds good to me
>ugh, Makabe and Yoshi-Hashi but not Kojima (injured) and Nagata (RIP G1)
>Hangman gonna eat a lot of pins
>Kota vs Tanahashi in the finals

I remember Juice/Okada from last year's G1 being real good
A Kota/Tana or a Naito/Tana final would be sick

I'm interested to see what the escalating war of brains between ZSJ and Yano leads to.

Here's how it will go down:

Okada will crash out early
Ibushi will eliminate Kenny and wnl the block
Tana/Ibushi final. Ibushi wins.

I expect Tama, Naito and ZSJ to beat Kenny. And Ibushi to get a draw with him.
I'm sure that White finishes with more points than either Suzuki or Tanahashi.
I'm really hyped for ZSJ vs Omega, Naito vs Omega, Yano vs Ishii, Juice vs Ibushi, Tama vs Omega and Ibushi vs Omega.
I'm curious about Fale vs Suzuki, White vs EVIL, Yano vs ZSJ, Naito vs SANADA and Ibushi vs Yano.
Ishii beats Goto and regains the NEVER belt shortly after, maybe in Destruction.
Hangman, Makabe and YOSHI still being here baffles me.
Taichi, DUSTIN, Kojima, Cobb and even Cody not bein there dissapoints me.
The Budokan is gonna be a wonderful venue for the finals.
Okada wins lol.

Big Dave says that no one seems to be ready for G1 this year.
He's in touch with some of the guys and it's like, usually this time every year they get a little time off and then train like crazy because the G1 schedule requires special training or something, but this year they're not doing anything special right now just doing house shows and it's almost like they're not aware or don't care that G1 is coming.

So this one might be the most disappointing one since the one after the first one that Naito won, but that one was mostly because of significantly scaled back production values or whatever. That's the way I took it. I mean the final couple nights will still probably be good but who the fuck knows about the rest of it.

These are all the matches I'm looking forward to (especially White vs EVIL in a goth fight and Sanada vs Ibushi in the true HANDSOME BATTLE) with the addition of SANADA vs ZSJ, Goto vs Ishii, and White vs Suzuki. Also morbidly curious about Suzuki vs Page.

I'm still bummed Suzuki and Yano aren't in the same block this year.

I know people want Ibushi to win to set up the Golden Lovers battle for the heavyweight title, but he's still a freelancer. Hoping for Tanahashi or Naito but expecting Okada wins lol (though Omega might not be the one to make it to WK with the belt). I could see Okada losing if he's the one challenging Jericho for the IC at WK.

I can see Okada winning all his matches except against Switchyblade, which'll lead to fun times in CHAOS.

>Okada wins his block, losing to EVIL and White and maybe one other person but winning the rest.
>Naito beats Omega and Ibushi
>Omega is mathematically eliminated going into the last day and Ibushi is leading the block, but with Naito still able to win if Omega doesn't lose to Ibushi.
>Omega-Ibushi goes to a draw, Naito wins the block.
>Naito def. Okada in the final.

Before the blocks were announced I was thinking Okada would win but drop the briefcase to Naito before the Dome. Guessing there's no chance of that now, so this works instead.

I've really liked the idea of Naito hijacking Wrestle Kingdom by beating the case holder for some time now, but I think it'd be cooler and more impactful for a Kenny/Naito Dome battle if he got it off Ibushi.

It's hard to get motivated when the last G1 winner has done fuck-all since winning it last year. You can't even argue that he had great matches like Omega did in 2017

I don't wrestling fans will wait that long. Naito won the recent fan favorite poll again. Now is the time to pull the trigger.

Puro Twitter might screech endlessly about it, but Japanese fans are respectful and understand long-form storytelling. They can keep Naito interesting until 2020.

I was thinking this too but i was considering more Jericho vs Tana for Ultimate jericho heat.

Dunno where to put okada though unless he goes for tag belts or just tries to steal the show with Kota

I was thinking Cody/Tana and Jericho/MiSu. The former gives Cody the chance to really heel it up and the latter would be two old guys just beating the fuck out of each other.
