I know attendance is way down, but seriously you gotta use critical thinking here. The NBA finals with a clutch game is gonna be chosen over Man Soap Opera. You should be on your knees thanking those people that didn't buy a seat, money is the only thing that talks with companies. Them not paying is more important than you or me who most likely never pays but still watches their product, and commercials which is the cycle of their empowerment of control

I think I've witnessed deepfakes greenscreening at several moments from random shows before. A slight distortion here or doubles there, when you break down certain captured frames for webm/gif making. They add a shadow and hue (like red in OP pic or green, blue with the lights for easier video manipulation. There is at least a 30 second to minute delay in the live broadcasts to give them time to overlay

Wrestling is dying, bro. AEW has a strong start but eventually people will start to get bored with it and they too will succumb to low drawing.

>NJPW fails to sell out the tokyo dome every year and can't break into America
>ROH and PWG can't fill literal bingo halls
>WWE has been tarping off more than half the arena for more than a year at this point with record low TV ratings that keep dropping
>GFW was an embarrassing disaster that was kept alive at one point via a cash for gold pyramid scheme
>TNA was selling to Billy Corgan, who was then dragged into legal problems to kill any momentum he had
>Jeff Jarrett sunk his teeth into TNA yet again, changed it to Impact, and made it almost totally irrelevant
AEW and Moxley are giving pro wrestling a fighting chance, but this ship has clearly sailed... just like the chariot race

No, but many forms of entertainment have fallen completely off the map throughout history and it is stupid to look at all of those and still say "wr-wrestling is cyclical" when wrestling has been on a SHARP downturn for years at this point.

Wrestling need to crash truly, It hasn't crashed yet just stagnated. Then it can start again from crass root level.

Maybe then we also get generation of wrestlers that are in for money and not for star ratings. It's strating to get painful to watch when guys are killing themself in ring.

>NJPW fails to sell out the tokyo dome every year and can't break into America
the numbers have been increasing at costant rate and ambrose has great potential to get americans intrested
>ROH and PWG can't fill literal bingo halls
PWG is a tiny indie with an increasing niche and comparing it to ROH is a bit weird, because in their case not selling out bingo halls is well deserved
>WWE has been tarping off more than half the arena for more than a year at this point with record low TV ratings that keep dropping
yeah
>GFW was an embarrassing disaster that was kept alive at one point via a cash for gold pyramid scheme
GFW was never meant to me anything more than a money laundering scheme, weird to bring it up
>TNA was selling to Billy Corgan, who was then dragged into legal problems to kill any momentum he had
of all the things you could have said about TNA you chose THAT?
>Jeff Jarrett sunk his teeth into TNA yet again, changed it to Impact, and made it almost totally irrelevant
he was there for maybe 2 months, and gave them a shit ton of connections with other promotions

why not also mention MLW? the NWA revival? how big the UK scene is getting? how big the Japan scene has been for so long? LUCHA LIBRE? wrestling is far, far away from dying and the only company on a true costant decline is WWE and WWE only
fuck, impact may be more irrelevant than ever, but at least they're finally breaking even

>NJPW has been doing bigger & bigger Dome show attendances over the last few years
>Dragon Gate's recovered from the loss of CIMA/Shingo Takagi while pushing fresh & new stars that the crowd loves
>AJPW & NOAH's rebuilding period has been going well
>NWA slowly but surely coming back
>MLW is putting out good shit
>IMPACT isn't on the verge of death every 5 months like they were a few years ago
>CMLL will never even come close to dying
>CIMA & OWE's bringing eyes to the developing Chinese wrestling scene
You sure about that whole "pro wrestling is dying" thing, dude?

Wrestling in America at least is. WWE is bleeding fans rapidly and they're not bringing in new ones. At best they're bringing back some lapsed fans, but they're not even really doing that anymore. TNA and smaller indies were never going to expand the wrestling fanbase. They were just fighting over the same handful of smark dollars.
AEW is the best shot at bringing in a new audience, though it's not guaranteed they will. They're putting together a product with more diversity and more appeal than the WWE/indie smark base. Maybe they bungle it and it never happens and they're stuck with that exact same audience that's been watching for years. I do hope they pull it off, though.

AAA is also doing stupidly well and indies like The Crash draw crowds that american indies could only dream of

now that i think of it, a reason for why its so hard for smaller wrestling companies in america to draw big crowds in america is because that place is fucking massive

like, imagine you want to watch your favourite show of the year in japan, uk or mexico, all you'd have to do is to on a car trip that lasts a few hours at most, but for america? shit, you'd have to take planes, or drive for a whole day

>>6249581
inoki is the reason new japan took so long to start finally drawing again
