So they're saying that The Fiend may attack The Undertaker when Smackdown moves to Fox on October 4. This could lead to an interesting feud, and hopefully 'Taker has a few more good matches left in him, but what are your thoughts on Wyatt actually potentially retiring the GOAT? Personally, I have felt for a long time that The Undertaker is so much different than any other character in history, with his mysterious aura and the fact that he is in kayfabe a damn-near unstoppable force, that he shouldn't be be given a humiliating retirement match and have to go out with defeat like that. I would honestly prefer if he just quietly faded away one day, tbh. Opinions?

The problem is we'd have to watch WWE to give you our thoughts

You're really driving this gimmick into the ground fast

>Taker is too old
That's a fair point, but he needs one last good feud before he retires, imo. Seems like there's nobody on the modern roster who would be better suited for this than The Fiend. Wyatt could probably carry the match and make it all look good.

Wyatt doesn't carry anyone. Taker should not have any matches and it will be an awfuk feud of shitty promos

Why are you forgetting that they already feuded once and it was terrible?

No he doesn't, he doesn't have it in him and WWE booking isn't good enough to hide that. He needs to fuck off and not embarrass himself and WWE

This fuck is still wrestling?

>shitty promos
The promos would actually be the most epic part of it all. Undertaker can still cut a hell of a good promo. I really believe Wyatt could really do some epic shit with the Firefly Funhouse segments regarding the Dead Man. Also, Undertaker's performance at Extreme Rules was pretty decent, all things considered.Maybe I'm just being too hopeful, but I feel like if he can just do as well as he did there once more, I think it could be really interesting to see.
But Bray Wyatt had a rather shitty, uninteresting gimmick at the time, whereas The Fiend is actually very cool.

Why do people seem to be so upset about The Undertaker wrestling in his mid-50's, yet when Hogan and Flair did it, it was all fine and dandy?...Not being combative here, just asking an honest question. I know 'Taker's physical condition ain't what it used to be, but if he is willing to get out there and try to perform, which he obviously wants to do, why do people have a problem with it? I for one find it very admirable when any older individual continues doing what they love.

Hogan was a massive egomaniac who held down younger talent and hogged the spotlight at every opportunity.

Flair could do it because he still put on great matches as he got old, although you wouldn't know that from his TNA stuff. His final match ever was in 2011 against Sting, and holy fuck was it a trainwreck.

Undertaker did get much better in his twilight years as a full-timer, but since he lost to Brock his aura is just gone for some, including me. Plus he has like 3 surgeries a year by this point. I don't know how much longer he can take it.

didn't they already have a shitty wrestlemania match a couple years ago?

Not a bait thread. It is a thread for a legitimate discussion about a feud that is apparently coming up whether anyone wants it or not.

he's being honest, it's just that WWE is a bait wrestling company.

The new gimmick Wyatt has could make things more interesting if WWE books this shit the right way.

I think it would be fucking E-M-B-A-R-R-A-S-S-I-N-G if the Undertaker doesn't put over the next, next generation. Wyatt needs the rub, has earned the rub, tenure-wise, and deserves the rub for the effort he's put into the various incarnations of the gimmick. If Taker can't just give Wyatt his approval at this point, he's a big, giant baby man.

Only way it could feasibly work is for Taker to get squashed, just absolutely demolished and stay retired for good.

I mean fuck, he did it for The Great Khali of all people on a random episode of Smackdown.

...I feel like that's probably what is going to happen if they do in fact end up having a match. I'm gonna be really fucking sad to see 'Taker get defeated and retired like that. But, I am really hoping he'll start a podcast after retiring, so at least I have that to hope for.

Don't see why he wouldn't. While he did go over Bray at Mania, I remember him making Bray look really strong in a time when he was on the decline. If he gives Bray his win back, then it would be huge for Bray in his current Fiend incarnation.

A feud involving "anime super power" would be several leagues above what lolWWE will usually deliver.

>Wyatt had a rather shitty, uninteresting gimmick

This is literally never been true.

Imagine being "sad to see Taker go" any time after 2015.
