Who is a wrestler that you think of as really good, but you can't remember them ever having a classic/MOTY match? A common example of this for a lot of people is Lance Storm. Commonly agreed to be a great wrestler, but he's never had a match that everyone would say is particularly memorable.

On the note of Kevin Owens, are we just talking about his WWE run? Cuz he had Ladder War with El Generico in ROH and that was pretty good. I thought his first match with John Cena was pretty close to great, too.

For the life of me, I can't remember a single great match involving Seth Rollins/Tyler Black.

I remember the Lesnar/Cena/Rollins Royal Rumble match and of course many of the early Shield matches being awesome, but none of his singles matches have ever stood out to me.

Daniel Bryan.

I mean the guy has no 5 star matches.

His last match in ROH against Roderick Strong was probably his best and a good payoff for his heel run in the company

I wouldn't say he has none, but after pic related in 2004 has Orton really had any in the past 15 years?

Vs. Christian Over the Limit was the only one that came to mind. I checked cagematch to refresh my memory and nothing else sticks out. For his longevity, you'd expect far more good matches.

vs. D-Bry on that one Raw (and the WM triple threat is pretty good too)
Some of the Cena matches are pretty good too, but hard to remember since there were a couple of them...
Also, I remember the UT matches fondly, even though I hated I hated how big of a role his dad got. No idea how they'd look nowadays.
Also that one HIAC was reeeally good, but multi-man matches are kinda iffy on this.

Also, I'd like to be reminded of John Cena's classics.

vs. JBL, vs. Umaga and the ironman vs. Michaels are all I legit can think of that were actually great. Granted, three matches is pretty much more than I'd remember from most of the other guys, but given Cena and his tenure, there's bound to be more.

it wasn't even an ironman vs MIchaels, it was just too long for tv to remember correctly. mb

Yeah, the one-hour match between Michaels and Cena was a bog-standard one-on-one.

Also for Cena's greatest hits list: Cena vs Punk at MITB.

Lance did his best work outside WWE and his next highest-profile stint was in...WCW 2000.

>>6308961
Rollins vs. Lesnar at SummerSlam? Otherwise, some of his Ambrose matches outside the finishes going fullWWE

>>6309077
Orton vs. Cena has never produced a good match.

>>6309054
It's not even the best Wrestlemania main event with Lesnar.

How can this thread have gone on for this long and no one mention the classic Owens vs Steen match from NXT.

I watched it. I'm answering OP question. Memorable matches. I forgot wrestlemania already and probably really did fall asleep. The last good WM was 30.
