for a twitch special that probably won't be watched by many people, Turning Point looks pretty decent. Fallah Bah vs Moose might even be a good 3 star match.

He's a great heel wrestler, something that is sorely missing in today's wrestling landscape

I assume it'll be in this center area, though it looks a bit awkward space-wise with the raised part and staircases there and all. Still, I agree, mall shows are pretty unique and probably fun to go to.

Come to think of it, a lot of malls are dead or dying. I wonder how much they would charge to let wrestling shows in, especially on a Sunday when most of them close by 6 anyway. Lots of logistics involved, I'm sure, but hey, money's money.

Wrestling shows at untraditional venues with random passerby can be fun as fuck. Watching Beyond Wrestling at Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island was some of the most fun I've had at anything ever.

One lady just randomly showed up with some other guy she was with just outside the roped off area for the show and she stayed through MJF's farewell speech. Also the F bombs were flying at the show and a few of the matches spilled onto the public area of the beach and the whole experience was amazing.

Turning Point is on Impact+ tonight, Over Drive is on Twitch tomorrow.

Should have done the show at Schrute Farm.

Emma vs taya at bfg was boring and not good but afyer watching britt baker on full gear in front of a much bigger crowd stink the place up it looks much better. Meltzer buried taya and emma but this 0/10 briitt baker preshow match gets "it was a bit off". His bias blows.

ehh, don't call it a bias
i mean, it probably is, but who cares? dave's opinions are often by his own ammission fallible, and its not like he wants people to hold them on a pedestal, blame his fanbase for that
i dont even disagree with what you said but crying about meltzer every time he says something stupid is pointless

It's probably safe to say you can add a star to most of the impact matches he rates and subtract one from the NJPW matches to align with the general consensus.

fans like that guy are why people don't want to be TNA fans, to be seen as being lumped in with "that" kind of fan.
They are actively preventing TNA from making new fans despite the show being better now than in years. Too bad. Their selfish need to be martyrs killing their alleged favorite wrestling company. smh

the problem for TNA is those types of fans are ALL they have left now.
And they are repelling any others away.

Impact fans on the tubes are pretty chill and nobody argues with those who shit on the show. The kind of tna/impact fan who is obsessed with Meltzer approving the company frequents Disqus comment sections on wrestling news sites. Yeah, of course some of them post here, but sometimes I think maybe somebody is pretending to be one of them.

I like listening to Dave and I don't care if Impact isn't his cup of tea.

A little, yeah. But they don't have to do those shows or try their best for those shows, but they do both and that's admirable as fuck.
