Great American Bash is a strong contender for GOAT PPV in the US, but not mentioned a lot. Go watch it.
Is that supposed to be Booker?

I deeply enjoyed One Night Stand 2008. For a B-PPV show based around Hardcore Gimmick matches it had a lot of drawing power behind it

I also really enjoyed Night of Champion's 2008 as well it being the 1st ever Wrestling DVD I ever owned and I remember watching it intently.

First NJPW show I saw. Was hooked instantly. Doesn't get talked about much because a lot of people started watching a couple of years later.

>Suzuki vs. Nagata in an even better DAD FIGHT than their recent one, featuring live kaze ni nare
>Nakamura vs. Sakuraba in an awesome "fighter vs. wrestler" match. Probably one of the best ~10 minute matches ever
>Shibata and Makabe in another hard-hitting sprint
>Devitt vs. Low Ki vs. Ibushi in one of the better triple threats you'll ever see, featuring Low Ki working the whole match in an Agent 47 suit for some reason
>Tanahashi and Okada tearing the house down in the main event, because of course they do

Judgment Day 2006 was arguably the best WWE PPV of that year.

Armageddon's probably a close second or third.
>Kane/MVP inferno match was a good opener
>Most underrated ladder match WWE has had
>Solid Benoit/Chavo match
>Helms/Wang Yang
>Decent enough "send the fans home happy" no stakes main event

WWF In Your House: Canadian Stampede was a great show

Suit Jericho sneaking the world title win in the main event of Unforgiven 2008 after being murdered by Shawn Michaels earlier in the show was some bretty good HEELS WIN.

Same show that gave us pic related

Starrcade 1995. Maybe the best big two PPV of the year.
Scott Lost - Sun, 28 Jun 2020 22:19:05 EST rqbeZnm6 No.6414653 Reply
HEELS WIN, /WOOO/ WINS was specifically a board title we got after Backlash 2009. Way back when the board title used to change. Unforgiven 2008 giving us Kendrick as WWE Champ was good shit though.

Turning Point and Final Resolution 2009
[name redacted] !h55/E7mIo6 - Mon, 29 Jun 2020 09:53:43 EST 6apqnXqm No.6414789 Reply
I think Lockdown is my favourite of TNA 2009. There was the great tag match with MCMG, a young Naito and Takahashi and LAX, the Team 3D and Beer Money street fight, Lethal Lockdown and the Bullet with Butterfly Wings soundtrack. Turning Point and Final Resolution are my #2 and #3 for 2009 because of the AJ matches though.

Lockdown was okay though I think Slammiversary and Bound for Glory were better shows.

They would be my 4 and 5, Slammiversay and then BFG. It's been a while since I last watched them, but for I remember those two PPV's as having some really great matches which I loved, like the X-Division KoTM and Angle/Morgan and AJ/Sting, but I don't think I liked the undercard or women's matches that much. maybe because I was never a big fan of Tara or ODB. Loved Taylor Wilde and Sarita's team though.

This is one of the best WWE PPV's of all time, 2002 in general had a lot of great PPV's despite the wrestling business being in decline.

The Honmania era was the fucking best. Hopefully we get part 2 after that Hiromu match, give him at least one NEVER run for fuck sake.

I think a strong case can be made for Greed being the best WCW PPV of the Nitro era.

Ishii/Honma was New Beginning in Sendai but for Honma being a last minute replacement for Togi Makabe, its one of my favorite NJPW matches ever and it told a hell of a story too.

>That fucking Kokeshi from the top rope to the outside

Slammiversary last year for me could be the best Impact PPV of all time

It was, but I wouldn't call it underrated.
