Yep, that Texas Madman is still with us. From Baba to Dreamer, he's just about faced them all. What's your favorite memory of the old coot?

Maybe the GOAT, top 5 easily. Have no idea how the crazy old fox is still kickin' but I'm glad he is.

Love Terry. If you judge a career on wrestling ability, promo ability, famous matches, iconic angles, longevity, drawing power, influence, versatilily, name recognition and crossover into the non-wrestling mainstream he's probably the legitimate GOAT.

Gotten over literally EVERYWHERE in the world, with multiple styles and with wildly different audiences, across several decades, both as a team and as a singles guy, fantastic promo, constantly kept evolving his repertoire, worked with a large portion of the best (and worst!) wrestlers of all time, and supposedly just a straight up fucking GOOD GUY which is possibly the rarest thing you can find in wrestling.

Terry's the man. 100%.

Legit in the top 5 western wrestlers, atleast from the somewhat taped era. I've no idea about Sammartino etc. outside of select few instances, but I'd put Funk (and Flair) there in a heartbeat.

May you retire and retire and retire and unretire forever and forever and ever.

I remember someone made a best of terry funk collection maybe like 5 years ago, and it was at least 20 DVDs but I wouldn't be surprised if it was 40.

Starting with silent footage from Amarillo cause they were shooting it on film and the audio recordings either never happened or didn't survive. Ending with I think his match with Edge and Foley. And then filled with everything from barbwire matches with Sabu to old school tag team matches with Dory in Japan.

Not taking away from them, but anyone you would put in your top ten found what they were good at, what slot they could fill, and mastered.

Funk did just about everything, anywhere they would let him. They'll never be another career like that.

Yes. 89 was an excellent year for wrestling in general. I think it'd be hard to tell who the best in the world was in 89.
