And three years later, they wrestled at Vengeance again, with Christian in a triple threat. I clearly remember that being the show, the match, the moment where I realised we were in for Cena for the LONG haul, and that Vince/WWE did not care about what the fans wanted anymore.

WWE's medical staff is a complete farce. They have stooge doctors that will clear or not clear you based on company orders. He was always fine, just like Danielson was always fine and Christian was always fine.

>He was always fine, just like Danielson was always fine and Christian was always fine.
Sting had a neck injury, not concussions. Plus WWE never said Christian couldn't wrestle. They just didn't want to pay him to get injured every 6-8 weeks and have to get benched constantly. They literally couldn't build a storyline around him or put a belt on him because he was so concussion prone.

In other words, there are good reasons AEW has teamed up all 3 of these guys with other people, and primarily uses them in multi-man matches, not as singles competitors.

Tbf in Christian's case, the last two major times he got hurt in WWE came from a ladder match (which injured more than just him iirc) & the other time came from getting a stiff kick in the back in the back of his head from ADR. Not really his fault in that sense.

Also Danielson can work singles so long as he sticks to the technical, submission based style of matches

god i remember this because of the amount of work they had to do to get bubba ranked up enough to make him look even remotely like a possible threat to haitch. in the end like everyone before him bubba got the shovel and tossed back down to the midcard after he lost. which was wild because if i recall bubba was actually kinda over with the crowd since he had the face boost from d-von being a heel and the underdog boost as well.

I went to random show from 2019 because I figured I'd find something that counts, and:
>ROH World Six Man Tag Team Title Match

Villain Enterprises certainly was a stable that had a push.

Just remembered that almost this entire show counts.
>Cody vs Angle for the first time
>Liger vs Jeff
>Lawler vs Brooklyn Brawler in the year of our lord 2016
>Ryback shows up to hit a Meat Hook & Shellshock on a local heel, says nothing, leaves
>Matt is regular old Matt Hardy on the poster but this was when the BROKEN gimmick was fresh and I'm pretty sure this was the only indie show Senor Benjamin showed up to; he worked a match with Callihan back when he was doing that Space Cat gimmick
>Hiromu Takahashi giving Velvet Skye a Stinkface while Swoggle was watching from ringside in a trios match
Going to this show will forever be one of my life highlights, mostly for seeing Liger wrestle in person. There will never be an indie show quite like Wrestling Under The Stars 5 again. I also went with my dad, the only time he watched wrestling with me, which helps strengthen the memory.

I actually point to this match as a reason Danielson is the GOAT. He defended the ROH World Championship against KAMALA in the mid-late 00s to a non-finish after selling for him for most of it, and it's DECENT. You need to be well above average to not have a complete stinker under these circumstances. And he's honestly gotten better with time too.

Just copy and pasting these off the Rudo Reels comp. But there was an Italian promotion in the 2000s called Nu Wrestling Evolution. Rikishi basically set up shop and would get a lot of ex WWE guys work and I believe was doing good business with them.

Their most notorious match was the Ultimate Warrior vs Orlando Jordan in 2008, warrior as far as I know hadn't wrestled since the Hogan match in WCW. It was also an internet PPV and it being 2008 of course crashed. Oh and for some ungodly reason it the match was around 15 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN3J2s-k618
